Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification (as on 01.10.2026)
- Matriculation/Class 10: Passed from a recognized board.
- Technical Certification: Must possess a regular full-time National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) AND a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT in the concerned trade.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: At least 60% aggregate marks in both NTC and NAC for General, EWS, and OBC candidates. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum aggregate requirement is 55%.
- Important Note: Holding an ITI certificate alone without an NAC apprenticeship does not satisfy the qualification criteria.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.10.2026)

- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- SC / ST: 5 years
- PwBD candidates: 10 years (additional relaxation per category)

Remuneration & Service Agreement
- Stipend Period: Appointed candidates will initially serve as Temporary Artisans for one year with a fixed consolidated pay of ₹24,000 per month.
- Regular Pay Scale: Upon successful completion of the temporary tenure and regularisation under service rules, candidates will be absorbed into the Artisan Grade-IV pay scale of ₹29,500 – ₹65,000 along with DA, HRA, and standard statutory benefits.
- Mandatory Service Tenure: The advertisement stipulates a mandatory minimum commitment of 20 years of service at the allocated manufacturing unit. Unit transfer requests will not be entertained during this period.
